    The TS-x31K series is powered by a quad-core 1.7 GHz processor for exceptional home performance. With 1 GB RAM, Gigabit LAN (1-bay: one GbE port; 2-bay and 4-bay: two GbE ports), SATA 6 Gb/s, and AES-256 bit encryption, the TS-x31K delivers fast and stable connectivity.     The TS-x31K series is a comprehensive home data center that provides well-rounded data storage, sharing, backup, synchronization, and data protection. Users can regularly back up data from their Windows® and macOS® computers and from mobile devices, then further protect their backup data by saving to another NAS or cloud storages as an off-site copy using HBS (Hybrid Backup Sync). Users can enable snapshot protection to effectively mitigate the threat of ransomware and to quickly restore files to previously-recorded states.

    The TS-x31K provides a wide range of multimedia applications, including Photo Station, Video Station and Music Station, allowing users to easily manage and view their rich media collections. Users can also transform the TS-x31K into a Plex® Media Server.   • QNAP Releases Multi-platform 8-bay Desktop TL-D800C and 12-bay Rackmount TL-R1200C-RP USB 3.2 Gen 2 JBOD Storage Enclosure

    Taipei, Taiwan, April 15, 2020 - QNAP® Systems, Inc. today launched two USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C JBOD enclosure models, the 8-bay desktop model TL-D800C and the 12-bay rackmount with redundant power model – TL-R1200C-RP for NAS, PCs, and servers. The multipurpose TL USB JBOD can be used for expanding a QNAP NAS storage space and also serve as storage for PCs and NAS. The TL USB JBOD offers convenient cross-platform file sharing and high flexibility for users, acting as a high-efficiency and intuitive storage expansion option.

      

    QNAP NAS users can use the TL-D800C and TL-R1200C-RP with their NAS, including setting RAID parameters and creating a storage pool using the Storage and Snapshots app in QTS. Alternatively, the TL-D800C and TL-R1200C-RP can be used as a NAS external storage device. Windows®, Mac®, and Ubuntu® users can use QNAP JBOD Manager desktop utility to quickly obtain and view information about the JBOD status, health, fan rotation speed, and check for firmware version updates.

With the remote file transfer and the JBOD enclosure’s plug and play feature, a TL USB JBOD moved to a different location can instantly work with a host device running on the same operating system making data migration simple and easy.

      

    Users can also treat each disk as an individual external storage space and use it as a removable drive for greater flexibility.     The QVR Face smart facial recognition solution features real-time video analytics of any RTSP video streams from IP cameras or recordings saved on a NAS.
