Thecus® supports new Seagate IronWolf 110 SSD for fast NAS experience
01/11/2019 – Thecus is excited to announce that the brand new Seagate IronWolf 110 SSDs with up to 3.84 Terabyte capacity are supported by every current Thecus NAS model. These specifically for NAS built solid state drives were just revealed at CES 2019 in Las Vegas and bring all benefits of SSDs to network storage – higher performance and reliability, lower energy consumption and cooling requirements.
The new Seagate IronWolf 110 SSDs provide enterprise-class endurance and reliability with a MTBF (mean time between failures) of 2 million hours, have a 24/7 always-on work ethic and will be available this month with capacities of 240 GByte up to 3.84 TByte. These NAS drives are targeted for small to medium-sized businesses, can easily be deployed thanks to the SATA 6 Gbit/s interface and offer sequential reading speed of up to 560 MByte/s. Seagate Durawrite® technology helps accelerate reads and writes, extend the life of the flash memory and provide up to 7000 TBW (total bytes written) on the 3.84TB capacity drive. Like traditional Seagate NAS HDDs, “IronWolf Health Management” (IHM) to monitor and safeguard your data and “Seagate AgileArray” NAS optimization to maximize concurrent access in multi-user environments are also supported. The IronWolf 110 SSDs come with professional-grade 5-year limited warranty and 2-year data recovery support.
After extensive compatibility testing with many different models, the Seagate IronWolf 110 SSDs with 240 GByte to 3.84 TByte are drop-in ready for every current Thecus NAS (and even many older models) to significantly enhance your NAS experience with more performance and reliable data access.
