QNAP Showcases New Thunderbolt 3 NAS, 10GbE Business NAS, Ryzen™ NAS and QTS Applications at BVE 2018 for Creative Professionals
QNAP® Systems, Inc. will exhibit at the BVE 2018 held in ExCel London, from February 27th to March 1st, 2018. QNAP will demonstrate the QTS operating system to content creators, and visitors will see a selection of cutting-edge NAS solutions designed to enhance video-editing and streaming workflows, including the industry-leading Thunderbolt™ 3 NAS, 10GbE-ready solutions, Ryzen NAS, and a wide variety of business NAS.
Intel-based NAS solutions
QNAP will showcase the Thunderbolt™ 3 TVS-1282T3 and TS-453BT3 NAS. The pioneering TVS-1282T3 adopts the latest Thunderbolt™ 3 technology, providing up to 40Gbps bandwidth. The TS-453BT3 features two Thunderbolt 3 ports, 10GBASE-T networking and dual M.2 SATA SSD slots. Coupled with QNAP's proprietary Thunderbolt to Ethernet (T2E) Converter technology, the TVS-1282T3 and TS-453BT3 allow Thunderbolt-enabled computers to connect to 10GbE networks for wider application scenarios. The TS-1685 is powered by a high-performance Intel® Xeon® D processor with up to 128GB RAM, featuring four 2.5-inch bays for SSD caching, two 10GBASE-T ports, and support for up to six M.2 SATA 6Gb/s SSDs to provide ultra-high system performance.
AMD-based NAS solutions
The TVS-473e is powered by a high-end AMD R-Series APU with AMD Radeon™ R7 Graphics, and features PCIe expandability, the unique USB QuickAccess port, HDMI 4K@ 30Hz output, and 4K H.264 video decoding and encoding acceleration for an optimum audiovisual experience. The TS-1277 is powered by AMD Ryzen™ 7 or Ryzen™ 5 processor with up to 64GB RAM. The TS-1277 features two M.2 SATA SSD slots, expandable 10GbE/40GbE connectivity and supports AMD or NVIDIA® graphics cards for performance-demanding applications and GPU pass-through to virtual machines.
Enhance data backup and multimedia workflows with QTS
QNAP will demonstrate QTS video-editing and high-efficiency collaboration applications on Thunderbolt™ NAS, showcasing high transfer speeds with expandable data storage in multi-workstation environments. Another highlight will be QNAP's block-based LUN snapshots for data protection and fast restoration, providing dependable methods for mitigating the growing threat of ransomware.
